ART: due the week of September 6: Many examples of literature have been turned into movies and comic strip or graphic novels. Create a comic character that comes from one of your favorite stories or books. Make the figure as large as the paper and pay attention to your use of color. Use crayons or markers.

School Pictures for Grades 1 8 on Thursday, September 9 starting at 8:30 a.m.
Black & Gold Day
In support of our New Orleans Saints 2010 season opener, the students may bring a Saints T-shirt or jersey to wear over their school uniform after pictures are taken on Thursday, September 9th. Black and gold socks (same color and same design on each foot), pins, & hair ribbons(uniform ribbons for pictures) can also be worn. T-Shirts or jerseys may not have any questionable slogans or writing on them.

Religion: Study Study Guide Chapters 1 & 2 for Test on Thursday. Practice saying and making
The Sign of the Cross for Test on Thursday.
Math: Complete WB page 11 and leave in Workbook.
Spelling: Write words 3xs each: stop, pup, him, cook, milk. Write on tablet paper and return in
Silver Folder. Study words for Practice Test on Thursday.
Reading: Complete and Study How You Grew Study Guide. Complete A WB pages 17-19.
Study pages 17-19 in O WB.

WEDNESDAY
Religion: Study Chapters 1 & 2 Study Guide for Test tomorrow. Study saying and making The
Sign of the Cross for test tomorrow.
Math: Complete WB page 12 and leave in WB.
Spelling: Write words 3x each: hot, map, pin, hook, hop on tablet paper and return in Silver
Folder. Study all ten words for Practice Test tomorrow.
Reading: Study How You Grew Study Guide and O WB pages 17-22. Complete A WB
pages 20-22.

THURSDAY
