Welcome to the Ladies Council!

Our theme for the 2010 - 2011 school year is
Unity and Spirit.

Let us unite together, accomplish our common goals,
and renew and refresh our souls!

Have a great summer!

September General Meeting
Our next General Meeting will be on September 8th in the cafeteria at 7:30pm. THAT'S at 7:30pm!!!! All ladies in the parish are invited to attend the meeting and join Ladies Council. This is a great way to keep up with the events and happenings of our parish and school.

Fundraisers
Macy's 2010 Shop For a Cause
This year's Shop for a Cause is scheduled for Saturday, October 16th and Ladies Council is selling Macy's coupon passes good on that day! The pass includes 20% or 10% off most regular or clearance items all day, plus 25% off one regular item. In addition, you will have one entry into a drawing for a $500 shopping spree! Coupon passes are $5 each and are available in the Parish Center.

Great American Fundraiser
Brochures were sent home through school and all orders must be sent in no later than September 9th. Brochures may also be picked up at the Parish Center. Be sure to check out the cookie dough available too!

Recipe Book
CALLING ALL COOKS!!! The September 15th deadline for submission of recipes for our Ladies Council Cookbook is coming up fast! We need your help! Please send in your favorite recipes from appetizers to desserts. Anyone may submit a recipe. Just print out the submission form from this webpage and send them in! The deadline for recipe submission is September 15th so that the cookbooks will be ready for the holidays! For more information, please, contact Dawn Springler at 957-8974 or 737-0077.

REMINDER: Krispy Kreme cards($12)and CiCi's Pepperoni Passes ($10) are always available for purchase at the Parish Center.

Box Tops
Watch for bonus 30 cents box tops and double commercial Community products. Remember to sign up as a school supporter at www.boxtops4education.com (no purchase necessary).

Recycle Drink Pouches
Ladies Council is participating in a recycling program through Terracycle which will benefit our school. It's similar to the Campbell's labels/box tops program. Save all Capri-Sun, Kool-Aid and Honest Kids drink pouches (not juice boxes - just pouches) which are worth $.02 each to our school. Make sure they are empty and the straws removed (no need to rinse it out).

Bring your collected pouches to our Ladies Council General Meetings each month. Please do not send any pouches through school - they will be thrown away. You will receive one raffle ticket for a minimum of 5 pouches turned in at each LC General Meeting. For more information, contact Lauren Scandurro at 487-5609.
