Baptized Catholic adults may receive Confirmation at St. Louis Cathedral on the Solemnity of Pentecost, offered once each year. St. Edward offers a series of RCIA lessons for adults preparing for this sacrament.

Anyone over 18 years old who is interested in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation may contact the parish office, (504) 888-0703, for information and/or to register for an appointment.
 
You will need to supply a copy of your baptism certificate and complete a Registration form during your registration appointment.  A Sponsor Certification form will be given to you, which must be completed and later submitted.  All registrations should be submitted prior to Labor Day.
 
Adults previously baptized Catholic who have had less than three (3) years of formal Catholic religious education during the course of their life must participate in our complete RCIA process.
